Many of the areas in Edinburgh are distinguished by their architecture. As the city grew, new neighbourhoods were added with their own peculiar quirks. Comely Bank to the north of the city is built into a hill that slopes down towards the Forth, cars roll over its cobbled streets and much of the housing is in the form of stone built tenement blocks housing flats on four or five levels. Marchmont is to the south of the city centre, bordered on the north side by the Meadows – open parkland where dogs chase one another and on a good day, you may catch the locals playing quiddich.
These notebooks are spiral bound, A5 size, and printed by hand onto 350gsm white cardstock using an Adana 8×5 letterpress. Set from a hand-cut lino block and vintage metal type.
